என் இடுகையை விட நீ.................................ளமான ஒரு பதிலுரை கிடைக்கப் பெற்றேன்.முதலில் நன்றி அனுப்பியவருக்கு.என் மனதில் நினைத்ததை என்னைவிட அழகாக சொன்னதற்கு. நான் பிறப்பால் மட்டுமே கிரிஸ்டியன்.சிறுபான்மையினர் என்ற போர்வைக்குள் என்னை சிறை வைக்க நான் விரும்பியது இல்லை.
முகலாயர் காலம் முதல் வந்தாரை வாழ வைத்து ,அவர்களின் கலாச்சாரத்தை வரவேற்று , அவர்கள் இங்கு காலூன்ற இடமும் கொடுத்த நம் முன்னோர்களின் பெருந்தன்மை மறக்கக்கூடியதா? அவர்கள் நம்மை மிதித்து நம் மீது ஏறி நின்று, நம் பெருந்தன்மையை சீரழித்ததையும் மறப்பதற்கு இல்லை.
இன்றும் நம் சமுதாயத்தில் எல்லாம் கோவில்கள் கட்டவும்,மசூதிகள் கட்டவும் முடிகிறது என்றால் கண்டிப்பாக நம் மக்களின் உயர் குணமே அன்றி வேறில்லை.
நான் சொல்ல வந்தது மக்களின் இந்த மத சார்பற்ற தன்மையை தங்களின் ஓட்டு வங்கிக்கு பயன்படுத்த முயலும் கேடு கெட்ட அரசியலைப் பற்றியதுதான்...!

பிற மதத்தை இழிவு செய்யும் எந்த மதமும் மரியாதைக்கு உரியவை அல்ல. அது மதமானாலும் சரி அதை செய்யும் மக்களானாலும் சரி.அதை ஆழமாக அலச நான் விரும்பவில்லை.
ஒரு சாதரண இந்தியனாக ,கிரிக்கெட் முதல் கார்கில் வரை இது என் தேசம் என்ற நினைப்பு உள்ளவனாக ஒருவன் இருந்தால் போதும்.சிறு பான்மையினர் என்ற முத்திரை தேவை இல்லை. இந்தியன் என்ற சிந்தனை போதும்.தொண்டு நிறுவனங்கள் என்கிற நிலை பற்றி நண்பர் எழுதி இருந்தார்.நூற்றுக்கு நூறு உண்மை. கண் கூடாக டி.வி.எஸ். வைத்து சில வருடங்களில் பென்ஸ்க்கு மாறிய தொண்டுள்ளம் படைத்தவர்களை நான் பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். விஷ விதையை தூவி தன் மதத்தை பரப்ப நினைக்கிரவனை ....."தெரியாமல் செய்கிறார்கள் பரமபிதாவே.. மன்னியும்...."என விட்டு விடுகிறது நம் அரசாங்கம்.

.நமது நாடும் கலாச்சாரமும் மதமும் பிரிக்க முடியாதவை. அதை மறுக்கவும் முடியாது என நினைக்கிறேன். நம் மதங்களின் பூர்வீகத்தை எத்தனை ஆயிரம் ஆண்டுக்குள் அடைப்பீர்கள். மற்றவர்களுடன் ஒப்பிட்டுபார்க்க வில்லை , அதை மனம் செய்யும். அனாதைகளுக்கு தான அடைக்கலம் தேவை.நாம்தான் இந்நாட்டு மன்னர்கள்அல்லவா??பின் ஏன் இந்த பாதுகாப்பு வளையம். நீங்கள் என்ன பற்பசையா? சுயமாக சிந்தியுங்கள்.மதச் சார்புடையவை என வண்ணம் பூசப்படுவதலேயே அதில் உள்ள சாதகங்களை யோசிக்காமல் இருந்து விட வேண்டாம் என்ற பாதிப்பில் எழுந்ததுதான் என் இடுகை. நண்பரின் இடுகையையும் இங்கே பதிக்கிறேன் .......!

Your name suggets you as a Christian. What adds to the surprise is that when most of the comments (in various blogs)with Christian names spit venom on the majority religion of this country, you seem to stand apart.

All those profesing secularism are nothing but vote beggars! As read by you correctly you like it or not there will be some sort of an attitude amongst the majority religion adherents in any country. Look at the most liberal western European countries. The respect Christianity gets there (inspite of a very strong non religious and liberal tradition) cannot be expected for any other religion. Imagine planting a Temple or a Mosque in Europe or USA as being done by Christian groups in India.Europe doesnt permit that. If this is done in India, you are branded as communal, facist etc..ect. In the same breadth imagine planting a Temple or a Church in an Islamic country! I need not say what the consequence will be! Atleast in Christian countries, they will allow an alien religious prayer house after a strong debate and after evaluating the religious needs for its minority population. In India's case, you need not say anything. Just look outside in any major Indian city, you can see the number of new Churches and Mosques that have come up in the past 5 years! They are plenty and plenty as the Hindu culture doesnt beleive in one single doctrine theory! But imagine what happens in any Islamic country. There is no God or Worship method apart from what has been written 1300 years ago! You just cannot be a happy minority let alone a minority who can live without fear!
The only problem in India is that a small but vocal and venomous minority among the minority wants to disgrace and eliminate the majority's cultural practices and beliefs by calling their religion as false and stupid. This is in fact supported by stupid vote catching politicians who instated of supporting the sane among minorities, pander to these violent, hate mongering fanatics among the minorities.
One should note that no Christian or Muslim gets hit for his beleif in India. All the Churches and Mosques are safe and so are the people. What getes disturbed is when fanatical Christian priests go to poor areas and bad mouth about Hindu religion and culture to increase head count. Since Hindu's historically did not have the need to defend their religion with counter propaganda (at least not till Swami Vivekananda, Ramakrishna, Hare Krishna Movement etc) and not have organisation to do so and whereas Christian Church is well funded and organised, the Hindu groups respond with what best (or worst?) it can which is intimidation and counter violence! Again, no Christian is harmed in cities or in well entrenched Christian societies. Its only when the venom and hatred is spewed about Hinduism among poor and illeterate Hindus the reaction such as in Khandanmal is seen.
Many of the Hindus including me, do not hate Christ! We respect him. But born again Christians and that too the evangelical maniacs and white Christian funded hate mongers - WE HATE THEM and if the mainstream straighforward true Christians like you do not rein them in, we will, inspite of this pseudo secular political idiots!
On a last note It gives me lots of hope seeing blog like yours. I believe there are lots of sane Christians like you that like only Jesus and not the organization in HIS name that are gaining notoriety by abusing young kids, molesting nuns, spreading hatred amongst other religions! You guys should come out and tell to your co religionists that their help is NOT needed to save our souls! We have our own religion and culture and its as good if not better than yours.
